(U8-U12)

The Augusta Arsenal Academy Program is designed for young players who are ready to build on the fundamentals of the game in a more structured training environment. The program focuses on developing strong technical skills, confidence on the ball, and a deeper understanding of the game while maintaining a fun and positive atmosphere.



Our Academy program emphasizes player development over results, giving players the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a lasting passion for soccer.

Player Development Focus


During the Academy years, players work on developing the core skills that form the foundation for long-term success in soccer. Training sessions focus on:


  • Ball mastery and technical development
  • Dribbling, passing, and receiving
  • Attacking creativity and confidence
  • Small-sided game play and decision-making
  • Teamwork and sportsmanship


Coaching Focus: Academy players develop technical skills and game fundamentals through engaging sessions designed to create many successful moments. Coaches emphasize skill development, confidence, and a healthy competitive spirit.

Program Details


Age Groups: U8–U12

Training: 2 sessions per week + 1 skills night
Focus: Technical development and confidence on the ball
Competition: Local and regional tournaments and competitive games against other clubs in the area


The Academy program uses small-sided formats that allow players to stay actively involved in the game and continue developing their skills.

The Next Step in the Player Pathway

The Academy program serves as the bridge between recreational soccer and the club’s Select teams (U13–U19). Players who continue to develop their skills and passion for the game may progress into the competitive Select program as they grow older.
