Scholarship Policy
Augusta Arsenal is committed to making youth soccer accessible to families in our community. A limited number of financial assistance scholarships are available each season to help offset club fees for players who demonstrate need.
Eligibility
Scholarship assistance is based on demonstrated financial need and may consider:
- Household financial circumstances
- Number of players registered within the family
- Player commitment and participation history
- Availability of club scholarship funds
Submission of a scholarship request does not guarantee approval.
Application Process
- Families must complete a Scholarship Application Form prior to the published deadline
- Supporting documentation may be required to verify financial need
- Applications are reviewed confidentially by club leadership
Award Details
- Scholarships are limited and awarded on a case-by-case basis
- Awards may cover a portion of club fees (not necessarily full tuition)
- Scholarship amounts are determined based on available funding and individual need
Expectations for Scholarship Recipients
Players and families receiving financial assistance are expected to:
- Maintain good standing within the club
- Demonstrate commitment to training, games, and team responsibilities
- Follow all club policies and codes of conduct
- Support the club through volunteer efforts whenever possible, including events, tournaments, or other club activities
Failure to meet these expectations may result in loss of scholarship support.
Confidentiality
All scholarship applications and awards are handled with discretion and confidentiality.
Additional Notes
- Scholarships apply to club fees only and do not cover uniforms, travel, or tournament expenses
- Families are responsible for any remaining balance after scholarship is applied
- Scholarship funds are limited and may vary from season to season
