Player Code of Conduct

At Augusta Arsenal, we are committed to developing players both on and off the field. The way our players train, compete, and represent the club reflects The Arsenal Way - a standard of excellence, respect, and accountability.



Player Expectations

All players are expected to:

  • Demonstrate respect toward coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and staff
  • Give full effort during training sessions and games
  • Be coachable and open to feedback and instruction
  • Maintain a positive attitude, regardless of playing time or game outcomes
  • Support teammates and contribute to a team-first environment
  • Communicate responsibly with coaches regarding attendance, injuries, or concerns
  • Represent Augusta Arsenal with pride at all events and in the community



Commitment & Responsibility

  • Attend all scheduled trainings, games, and team events whenever possible
  • Notify coaches in advance of any absences or conflicts
  • Arrive on time and prepared for all team activities
  • Take responsibility for personal development, fitness, and preparation



Game & Training Behavior

  • Compete with integrity and good sportsmanship
  • Follow instructions from coaches and respect team roles
  • Avoid negative reactions toward teammates, referees, or opponents
  • Control emotions and demonstrate composure during competition



Off-Field Conduct

Players represent Augusta Arsenal at all times and are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves appropriately in public, at school, and online
  • Use social media responsibly and respectfully
  • Avoid behavior that reflects negatively on the club or team



Prohibited Behavior

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Disrespectful or abusive language or behavior
  • Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any kind
  • Poor sportsmanship or intentional misconduct during games
  • Repeated failure to follow team or club expectations



Accountability

Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Reduced playing time
  • Temporary suspension from training or games
  • Removal from team activities
  • Additional disciplinary action at the club’s discretion
