The Augusta Arsenal Select Program is designed for players who are ready to compete in a more challenging and structured soccer environment. This program builds on the technical foundation developed in the Academy years while introducing higher levels of competition, tactical understanding, and physical development.



Players train in a professional and supportive environment where coaches focus on continuing to develop technical ability, game awareness, and decision-making while preparing players for the next stages of their soccer journey.

Player Development Focus


Select players participate in a competitive training environment that emphasizes both individual improvement and team development. Training sessions focus on:

  • Advanced technical development
  • Tactical understanding and game awareness
  • Speed of play and decision-making
  • Physical preparation and conditioningTeam concepts and positional play


Players compete in regional leagues and tournaments, providing opportunities to test their development against strong competition.


Coaching Focus

Training becomes more competitive and tactical as players deepen their understanding of the game. Coaches maintain high-energy standards, strong relationships with players, and preparation for high school and college opportunities.


NAL and DPL teams train in a high-performance environment with professional standards, advanced tactical expectations, and strong competition designed to prepare players for college and higher levels of the game.

Program Details


Age Groups: U13–U19

Training: 3 sessions per week
Focus: Advanced technical development, tactical understanding, and competitive play
Competition: Regional tournaments and competitive leagues within the Southeast, including DPL, NAL, and SCYSA leagues (Open League, PMSL, National League)


The Select program introduces a more competitive training and match environment where players continue to develop their technical skills while building tactical awareness, teamwork, and game intelligence.

Advanced Competitive Opportunities

Augusta Arsenal offers additional opportunities for players competing at the highest levels within the Select program. Depending on team placement and performance, players may participate in leagues such as:

  • Development Player League (DPL)
  • National Academy League (NAL)


These platforms provide increased exposure, stronger competition, and opportunities for continued player growth.


Preparing Players for the Future

The Select program supports players as they prepare for the next stages of their soccer journey, including high school soccer, collegiate opportunities, and higher levels of competition.
